The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the new Residential/Accessory
Service Zones (RAS3 and RAS4) that will allow multi-family residential
uses with limited ground-floor services and retail use, and to begin
a dialogue regarding the implications for Pico Boulevard and our surrounding
residential neighborhoods.
Jane Blumenfeld, Principal Planner and Division Manager from the LA
City Planning Department and Beth Steckler, Policy Director at Livable
Places (www.livableplaces.org)
were the guest presenters, and CD 10 Councilman Elect, Martin Ludlow
spoke at the end of the meeting.
Thank you:
- Larry Underhill from Wilshire Vista for shooting the video
- FSS-Project T.E.C.H. and the Linux Public Broadcasting Network (LPBN)
