Auto Body Shop Public Hearing
The Environmental Health Committee of PRP has been informed of an upcoming hearing regarding a variance request for an autobody shop on Pico Boulevard. Our committee has been working to clean up the environmental and code violations along Pico, many of which pertain to the operation of auto body shops. PRP opposes this variance request, and we ask that members of the community attend this hearing and/or fax your point of view to the Office of Zoning Administration. **Notice of Public Hearing to Property Owners**
A hearing will take place on Thursday, March 21, 2002 at 9am regarding the variance request for Best Tech Auto Body Shop. This auto body shop is located at 5353 West Pico Boulevard (NW corner of Pico & Burnside). The hearing will be held at:

Some background information:
Topline autobody was in business at this location for about eighteen months. They were cited by AQMD and LA Building & Safety for not having proper permits to operate an auto paint shop. Many neighbors in the area are concerned that the same owners are actually operating the "new" business.

What you can do to help:
The zoning investigator, Victor Vallejo, has not completed his report on this request.
- Go to the hearing and state your opinion. Faxing him
- Fax a note stating our opposition to this variance request and our concerns to protect the environmental quality of Pico Boulevard.
